Putative promoter-RBS-gbpC

This part originally comes from S.mutans and code Glucan-binding protein C. S.mutans express GbpC on the surface to bind specifically to glucan synthesized by S.mutans. The sequence includes putative promoter and ribosome binding site. GbpC is a surface-anchored protein and it contains LPXTG motif which is processed by sortases to anchor the peptide glycan layer. The sequence is revealed by Y Sato et.al .The accession number is D85031. This part was used to express Glucan-binding protein C on Lactococcus lactis surface.
